In just a few years, power meters have moved from being pro-only equipment to affordable training aids for amateur racers and keen recreational riders. When used properly, a power meter gives you potent information that can vastly improve your training and pacing. It helps you be a professional rider.
Although the Power meter has been develop for a few years. But it is still a reliable pro-only equipment for the high level riders, so the selling price also at a high level price. It is the reason that makes many mid or entry level user step back. Therefore Ronde aims to develop a reasonable price power meter which has competitive function & accuracy with the famous brand (Shimano, Powertap, etc.).
Ronde Power Meter is a crank based power meter. It is easy to install and it is essentially contains a series of tensiometers/sensors that measuring the magnitude of the force applied by the rider. Then through the accelerometer to detect the movement frequency of the rider (such as cadence), and then transmitted the data to the GPS device for rider review. Data transmit through ANT+ wireless technology which is very common on nowadays bike GPS device, and easy to pair with.
